Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026 · Applies to com.brandmongo.brickstaz
This Privacy Policy explains how BrandMongo (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you play BrickStaz — Block Puzzle (the “Game”) on Android. By installing or playing the Game, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the Game, ads, and the optional leaderboard.
a) Information you provide by signing in (optional)
Signing in is optional and is only used to save your progress and appear on the leaderboard. If you choose to sign in with Google (or link another account), we receive:
- Your email address and Google account ID (used to identify your save/leaderboard entry).
- A display name you set for the leaderboard.
You can play the entire Game without signing in; in that case none of the above is collected.
b) Gameplay data
- Your scores and level progress, which are stored on your device and — if you sign in — on our leaderboard service so you can compete and restore progress.
- Game settings (sound, music, preferences), stored locally on your device.
c) Automatically collected technical data
- Advertising ID and ad-related identifiers (see Section 3).
- Basic device and diagnostic data such as device model, OS version, language, network state, and crash/performance information, collected by our ads and analytics providers to keep the Game working.
2. How we use information
- To run the Game and save your progress.
- To operate the optional leaderboard and show display names and scores.
- To show and measure advertisements (including rewarded ads you choose to watch).
- To diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and improve gameplay.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Advertising & the Advertising ID
The Game shows ads through Google AdMob. This includes optional rewarded ads you can watch to earn in-game rewards (for example, clearing rows). To serve and measure ads, AdMob may access your device’s Advertising ID and related identifiers.
- You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- Where required, we present a consent request (Google UMP) before showing personalized ads.
- Learn how Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with service providers who process it on our behalf:
| Provider | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Serving & measuring ads | Advertising ID, device & ad-interaction data |
| Google Sign-In | Optional account login | Email, Google account ID, name |
| Unity / leaderboard service | Cloud leaderboard & save | Player ID, display name, scores |
| Google Play services | App delivery, crash & performance | Diagnostic data |
We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
5. Data retention
Locally stored data remains until you delete the Game or clear its data. Leaderboard and account data are retained while your account is active and deleted on request (see Data Deletion), typically within 30 days.
6. Your rights & choices
- Access / deletion: request a copy or deletion of your data — see Data Deletion.
- Ad choices: reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in Android settings.
- Play without an account: simply don’t sign in.
Depending on your region (e.g. GDPR/EEA, India DPDP Act, CCPA), you may have additional rights; contact us to exercise them.
7. Children
The Game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
